today my little sister turned 6. i keep telling her never grow up. but she is very excited to be older. wish we could trade places sometimes. when we (me and my twin sis) asked what she wanted for her bday she said a peace owl and doxie painting. so me and jessica collaborated on this one. :) i also drew her a peace owl bday card. she loves the peace owl and has gotten very good at drawing her own peace owl. she is very talented. have a lovely day!

hope you all had a fun halloween! for this halloween i made myself a bird. i got the leotard and a old sheet at the thirft store. I transformed the sheet to be my wings and drew feathers all over one side. I made a feather mask with a beak covered in feathers. I also stuck feathers in my hair braid and made a feather necklace. it was fun being a free bird. for halloween i started the night at my little sisters house and did some trick or treating with her- she was a zebra. i shut my finger in the car door (that's the cause of the funny face of disapointment above). it was ok just needed a bandage or two. later i went out to moonfest on clematis street and did some flying around on the dance floor.lately all i have been doing is lots of daydreaming. i'd love to be on an adventure of some sort. Wish this waterfall was in my back yard or a bike ride distance away.. Any nature would be nice but it all seems too far away sometimes. I'd really love to go frolick and explore a forest. Anyone with a forest near by really should consider themselves very lucky and enjoy it. This polaroid was taken when I was in Costa Rica this summer. Can't believe summers over but can't wait for the things to come.

a few new items made a home in my etsy shop. they are dreaming of fields of daisies and being free.. or is that me dreaming? 
Saturday October 3rd I was apart of Stitch Rock Indie Craft Fair & Bazaar and it was awesome! It was my first big craft show. Stitch Rock had 50 amazing craft/ vintage vendors. It was awesome to be one of them plus my twin sister was also one with her doxie art- chloe the hot dog and friends! It was awesome because are booths were right across from each other. The show was very busy with a line out the door most of the day. I met some great people and made some fun sales and got lots of smiles from visitors to my booth. Smiles are the best reward to something you create. If you happen to come to my blog and you were one of my customers please say hello, it was a busy show but I'd love to give an extra thank you. I heard of a few more upcoming local shows and hope to get in one for December. For now I have some updating to do for my Etsy shop. :)
i am getting ready for Stitch Rock: Indie Craft Show & Bazaar. It is this Saturday October 3rd from 12pm- 6pm in Downtown Delray Beach Florida. this will be my first big craft show and i am so excited/ nervous. these pics are a few of my newest crafts, all going with my peace forest theme. the song stuck in my head is the fleet foxes- ragged wood. i cant wait for a nice adventure after this show. my poor bicycle misses me.
