crafty picnic, blueberryshoes magic

this saturday was a very magical Crafty Picnic at a lovely park in West Palm called Phipps Park. It had some beautiful trees, perfect for a nice shady place to craft under, also perfect trees to climb. I wish these trees were closer to my home. Or even if I could just have a tree house in one of the trees, that would be wonderful. This Crafty Picnic was put on by my crafty friend Hollie of Blueberryshoes Art and Vintage. She is very amazing and always puts together such cute crafty meetups. She also created an amazing Etsy Group called the Indie Free Spirits. Plus has a very magical Etsy shop of fairy tale art & fashion. She created the pine goddess crown i am wearing in a few of the photos. These photos were taken by Hollie and also Amy of Peace, Love & Cupcakes (another amazing crafty friend/ artist). It is so nice to be surrounded by crafty folks and events like this are really special. If you dont have one sprouting near you, start one up and spread the crafty love. I am very thankful to have these crafty friends in my community.

mini odd duck RETRO & Geek show

this saturday was the mini odd duck RETRO & Geek show. it was put on the amazing hollywood craft mafia and took place at Jezebels Vintage (Retro vendors) and Radioactive Records (Geek vendors). This show was 'mini' so the vendors had a 3 foot space to fill with goodies inside these 2 awesome places. Me and my twin sis (chloe the hot dog and friends) shared a spot. she had her retro flower doxie paintings and other doxie paintings, and some adorable florida oranges (ceramic & paintings). i had my peace owl 5 x 7 framed paintings, trunk of prints, ceramic mini mushrooms and mushroom flower vases/ peace owl bells.It was fun creating a cozy little display. my other neighbor at the show was hollie of blueberryshoes. i adore her and her craftyness. i am wearing her pine goddess crown in the bottom photo. she makes adorable bows, necklaces, paintings and more. everything has a special magic to it. also in the section i was in was Lorna Ruth (sweet alternative photography prints, buttons & jewelry) and Tortuga Tile Works. Rose's Whimsical Garden

Here are a few photos from a show I did this weekend, The Palm Beach Art & Music Festival. It was the first annual and it was at Meyer Ampitheater in West Palm Beach, FL. It was a chilly (about 60 degrees, thats coldd for south florida) but FUN time. Held on a nice grassy field with a nice band shell all the vendors flowed around the field all surrounding the band shell. I shared a tent with my friends Liza of Gopi Bliss and Rose of Rose's Whimsical Garden. We had a great time at the show. I brought a few of the hoola hoops i made and spent alot of the time hoola hooping and keeping warm. A few more photos I took at the show are here. Next weekend will be the Mini Odd Duck RETRO & GEEK Show. Can't wait.

happy halloween

for halloween i was a wild thing, a mixture of max from where the wild things are, a fox, and inspiration from my kitty cat dandelion who is a true wild thing.

 i made a few ghost friends to hang out at the bubble. i saw a tutorial on merry may handmade.

and i made some paper mache pumpkin friends.

Now I am getting ready for Palm Beach Art & Music Festival (this Saturday Nov. 6th) and Mini Odd Duck RETRO & GEEK Show (Nov. 13th). Plus getting excited for the holiday cheer around the corner. Weeee.
